Welcome to Riverbend Homes

Riverbend Homes has established itself as a premier Hill Country Custom Home Builder for over 18 years. Our reputation is based on our philosophy of communication and attention to detail.

Ken Neely, the owner of Riverbend Homes, brings almost 30 years of construction management experience to your project. Ken built and managed communities for some of the largest home builders in the country, until forming Riverbend Homes in 1996. Ken’s love for construction is evident through his hands-on management style, and quality he demands for the homes he builds.

Riverbend Homes has constructed over 53 custom homes throughout the Texas Hill Country, and remains an active member of the Hill Country Builders Association. Few purchases you make in your life will mean as much to you as building your own home. So whether you’re looking to build just a single family home, a dream home on some acreage, or a vacation getaway on the lake, you can trust Riverbend Homes to turn your vision into a reality.

The Riverbend Difference

What does “custom” mean to you?

Many builders in the Texas Hill Country build using what’s known as a “cost-plus” model. What this means is that they essentially take a percentage of every detail of your home, from the foundation to your lighting fixtures, and add a management percentage on top of that as their fee. The problem with this approach is that the contractor has no real incentive to complete your new home quickly or cheaply.

As a “flat-fee” builder that is not our approach, and one we feel you should not have to settle for. Our mission is to help you live in the home you have designed in your mind; so we spend the time with you upfront going over all the details of your plan to make sure your dream home becomes a reality within your budget.
